Solar Energry Costs, Home Value and Tax Incentives? - home value comparison
I have recently bought a new house and I am interested in installing solar panels. I looked at windmills, but the association of owners in my neighborhood who did not. I wanted to know what to expect, that 2000/sqft on materials and installation of solar panels and a system of a home stay in an area that receives an average of 8 hours sunshine a good day. I also wanted to know what may affect the value of my house. This house is not my dream house and looking in the next 5 years to update it. He wanted to know whether the value of solar energy will increase, to offset the cost now. (Without the current market conditions). In addition, anyone, what are the incentives, either natoinally, know the state or local Texas or other states that could be used for comparison. Thank you.

In short, you have the opportunity, even at a price the new value is to break. Certainly not in 5 years or maybe never. I see that you live in Texas and think of an emergency generator with automatic transfer switch, make over 12k if you buy through carefully and make their car work. Value to your house 20K on 30K. The value will continue to grow over time because the systems of generators to buy more expensive and electrical codes get stricter. With propane or natural gas or propane as an energy source.
